01 / MERIDIONAL

Investing requires more than capital.

Meridional invests its own capital in businesses where knowledge, management capabilities and investment discipline can contribute to consistent value creation.

Our activities are currently concentrated in Brazilian agriculture, a sector in which we have developed direct experience managing operations, markets and risk.

We believe strong businesses are built through a combination of operational knowledge, disciplined capital allocation and appropriate management and governance structures.

Our involvement therefore extends beyond operations. We actively participate in planning, financial decisions, risk management and the development of the processes that support each business.

02 / WHAT WE DO

Bringing capital and management together.

Meridional combines its own capital, knowledge and management capabilities to build and develop its businesses.

Our approach encompasses capital allocation and active participation in the decisions that shape each company's performance — from strategy and financial planning to risk management, governance and execution.

This allows us to view each business as a whole, connecting operational, financial and administrative decisions.

01

Business Management

Clear administrative structures, well-defined responsibilities and processes capable of turning planning into execution. We favor organizations that are straightforward, efficient and appropriate to the realities of each business.

Capital & Finance

Capital allocation is an integral part of management. Investments, financing, liquidity and capital structure are considered alongside the operational requirements and risks of each activity.

Risk Management 03 Risk Management
03

Risk Management

Every agricultural business operates with variables that cannot be controlled. Commodity prices, foreign exchange, input costs, weather, credit and counterparty exposure are all part of this environment. Our role is to understand these exposures and prevent isolated decisions from compromising the business as a whole.

Governance 04 Governance
04

Governance

Good governance begins with clarity. Responsibilities, controls, information and decision-making processes should enable management to understand the business and make consistent decisions.

03 / AGRICULTURE

Our principal area of activity.

Brazilian agriculture combines scale, productivity and competitiveness with a particularly complex operational and financial environment. Our experience has been built through the direct management of agricultural businesses, particularly grain production. This enables us to understand the business as a whole: from field productivity to commodity markets; from input planning to capital requirements; and from weather risk to commercial and financial decisions.

An efficient agricultural business begins in the field.

Agronomic planning, cost management, technology, machinery, logistics and quality of execution remain fundamental to agricultural performance.

Production is only part of the business.

Marketing, commodity prices, foreign exchange and market timing have a direct impact on results and need to be considered from the beginning of each production cycle.

Agriculture means operating in an environment of uncertainty.

Our objective is not to eliminate the risks inherent in the business, but to identify, understand and manage them with discipline.

Technical knowledge, management and consistent financial decisions.

A well-run agricultural business results from this combination. It is in this integration that we concentrate our experience.

04 / OUR STRUCTURE

Clear responsibilities. Simple structures.

Meridional Holding Ltda. holds the company's investments and corporate interests in Brazil.

Agribusiness operations are conducted through Meridional Agrícola Ltda.

This structure provides a clear separation between capital allocation and governance and the responsibilities inherent to agricultural operations, while providing flexibility for new investments and businesses in the future.

05 / OUR ORIGIN

Experience that predates the name.

Meridional Agrícola is the result of the reorganization of the activities previously conducted by Capeva Agrícola.

The new structure establishes a clearer separation between assets, capital and operations, allowing each activity to be managed according to its own characteristics.

The experience developed over the years remains part of Meridional, now supported by a structure prepared for new investments and opportunities.

Capeva and Meridional follow distinct paths while sharing a common origin.

06 / HOW WE THINK

Discipline before complexity.

01

Discipline before complexity.

We favor structures that can be clearly understood, managed and monitored. Investment decisions should consider not only potential returns, but also risk, capital requirements, liquidity and execution capabilities.

02

Knowledge before scale.

Growth, by itself, is not a strategy. We prefer to operate where we have sufficient knowledge to understand the risks and participate responsibly in decision-making.

03

Management before narrative.

Consistent results depend less on concepts and more on execution. Processes, information, controls and people remain fundamental to any well-managed business.

04

Independence in decision-making.

The use of our own capital allows us to assess opportunities on their fundamentals and make decisions consistent with the needs and characteristics of each business.
